ABOUT US......

What is the HSA?

HSA stands for Home School Association.  It is the fundraising committee for St Mary's C of E Primary.

Who are members of the HSA?

Everyone who has a child at the school becomes a member of the HSA at the childs date of entry.  We have a committee who organise and arrange events, funding of projects and liases with the school to find out what is required.

How often do the committee meet?

The committee meets approximately every 2 months, if necessary such as in September when we have our AGM.

Can I join the committee?

Yes, if you are interested in joining us, talk to one of the committee members and come along and see what you think. You can join at any point in the school year that is appropriate for you.

What sort of commitment would I have to make?

You can make as big or as little a commitment as you would like or have time to.

Do I have to be a committee member to help organise an event?

No, you can be involved in anything without sitting in on the committee.  We would love to hear from anyone who can offer any particular skill, or maybe an outside contact that may be useful to us.
